Bitcoin, USDT or Litecoin? Picking a coin to play with
How speed, fees and price swings differ between the most popular coins, and which suits which kind of player.
Most crypto casinos accept a dozen or more coins. They all work, but they behave differently once you deposit. Here's how the popular ones compare.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Accepted everywhere. But a new block arrives only about every 10 minutes, and fees rise when the network is busy. Its price also moves, so your balance can go up or down in dollar terms even when you're not playing.
Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC)
Stablecoins designed to stay worth about $1. Your balance doesn't swing with the market, which makes it much easier to keep track of wins and losses. On networks like Tron (TRC-20) they're usually cheap and fast. How to deposit with USDT.
Litecoin (LTC)
Faster blocks than Bitcoin and low fees. A popular choice for quick deposits and withdrawals.
Ethereum (ETH)
Widely accepted, but network fees can be high at busy times. Fine for bigger deposits; less ideal for small ones.
Solana (SOL) and Tron (TRX)
Usually very fast and cheap. Check the casino supports the exact network before you send.
Our rule of thumb
- Want to track your money easily? Use a stablecoin like USDT or USDC.
- Want speed and low fees? LTC, TRX, SOL, or USDT on TRC-20.
- Already hold Bitcoin? BTC is fine, just allow time for confirmations.
Whatever you use, send a small test first and always double-check the network. This is general information, not financial advice.
